We set out to create an online betting and live casino experience that truly reflects the way Pakistani players think, play and pay — transparent, mobile-ready and grounded in responsible principles from day one.
Who We Are
988wiu was founded with a straightforward idea: Pakistani sports fans and casino players deserve an online platform that speaks their language — not just in tone, but in every detail. That means displaying balances in Pakistani Rupees (PKR), loading fast on the mobile connections used across Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan and Peshawar, and offering markets that matter to local fans: Pakistan cricket, PSL T20 clashes, ICC tournament fixtures, and live in-play action across football, UFC and more.
The name 988wiu represents the brand's commitment to precision, speed and player trust — three things we believe Pakistani online betting users have long deserved and have too rarely received from offshore platforms that treat the market as an afterthought.
From the beginning, our team focused on doing things the right way: clear terms and conditions that do not bury wagering requirements in microscopic footnotes, responsible gambling tools built into every account rather than hidden away, and a support structure that actually responds. We take Pakistan's specific context seriously. That includes acknowledging that gambling restrictions exist under Pakistani law — we will never pretend otherwise or fabricate government approvals that do not exist.
Our platform covers the full range of online betting categories Pakistani players are looking for — cricket betting with ball-by-ball live markets, sports betting across dozens of global leagues and tournaments, live casino tables streaming in real time, slots, table games, live dealer games and competitive esports markets. Everything is designed to feel coherent and trustworthy rather than cluttered and chaotic.
We reference familiar payment names like Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank and Bank Alfalah because these are the payment methods Pakistani users know — but we are always clear that these institutions do not endorse or support gambling services, and users should verify available methods in the live cashier at all times.
988wiu is not just another offshore casino wearing a Pakistan-facing skin. It is an experience built from the ground up with Pakistani players in the room at every design decision.
988wiu does not claim to be licensed, approved or regulated by the Government of Pakistan, PTA, State Bank of Pakistan or any Pakistani provincial authority. Pakistan's Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977 and related regulations impose restrictions on gambling. Users are responsible for understanding and complying with applicable local laws before participating. This is not legal advice.
What Drives Us
Every decision at 988wiu traces back to the same set of principles. They are not marketing slogans — they are the framework our team applies to every product, policy and player interaction.
Bonus terms, wagering requirements, withdrawal rules and fee structures are written in plain English and placed where players can actually find them. No hidden clauses. No small print buried under lengthy legal boilerplate.
Responsible gambling tools — deposit limits, loss limits, session time limits, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion — are built into every account by default. We treat these as essential features, not optional extras.
Pakistan is a mobile-first country. Our platform is engineered to load quickly on everyday data connections and perform smoothly on Android and iOS devices without requiring an app download.
All account balances, bets and transaction amounts are displayed in Pakistani Rupees. We recognise the payment methods Pakistanis already use and reflect them in our platform context — without implying unauthorised endorsements.
Cricket is Pakistan's national passion. From PSL franchise showdowns to high-pressure ICC knockout fixtures, 988wiu treats cricket betting as the flagship sport it deserves to be — with deep markets, live odds and over-by-over in-play coverage.
We do not fabricate awards, invent regulatory approvals or manufacture testimonials. Trust is built through consistent action — clear terms, real support responses and responsible platform management — not marketing noise.

Our Journey
Building a platform that genuinely serves Pakistani players is not a one-time achievement — it is a continuous process of listening, adjusting and improving. Here is how 988wiu has developed over time.
Each milestone reflects a decision made based on player feedback and a commitment to raising the standard for online betting and live casino in the Pakistan market.
Platform Foundation
The 988wiu development brief was written with Pakistani users at its centre — PKR display, mobile-first architecture, English-language content and local sports context built in from day one rather than retrofitted later.
Sports Coverage Expansion
Live cricket markets were expanded to include ball-by-ball in-play betting for PSL and ICC tournaments. Pakistan football, UEFA competitions, UFC and esports were added to serve the full range of Pakistani sports interests.
Live Casino Launch
Live casino tables went live with streamed Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat and Andar Bahar. All tables display balances in PKR and are accessible from mobile browsers without additional software.
Player Protection Focus
Deposit limits, session time reminders, loss limit controls and self-exclusion options were integrated directly into the account dashboard — accessible to every player at any time.
VIP & Loyalty Programme
The Bronze through Black VIP tier structure was introduced, offering long-term players improved cashback rates, faster processing and personalised offers — with all tier thresholds clearly labeled as illustrative examples.
Ongoing
Player feedback, responsible gambling reviews and platform performance data continue to shape 988wiu's development roadmap. Our commitment to transparent, player-centred online betting does not have a finish line.
Our Commitments
These six commitments are the non-negotiable standards that 988wiu holds itself to as an online betting and live casino platform serving Pakistani users.
Every bonus, promotion and policy is written in plain English. No surprise clauses.
Responsible gambling controls are standard features, not optional add-ons.
We collect only what is needed. Your data is never sold to third parties.
Game outcomes, RTP figures and house edges are disclosed without manipulation.
Real support available 24/7 — not automated deflection, but actual assistance.
Pakistan cities, PKR currency, cricket markets and familiar payment references — all genuine, not cosmetic.
Trust & Security
Trust is not claimed — it is demonstrated through consistent, transparent action across every player-facing process.
Play Responsibly
At 988wiu, responsible gambling is not a compliance checkbox — it is a genuine priority. We recognise that gambling can become harmful and that players in Pakistan, like everywhere, need real tools to stay in control.
Every 988wiu account includes:
Gambling should be entertaining. If it stops being that — if it feels compulsive, stressful or like a way to recover losses — please use these tools or contact our support team. You can also visit our dedicated Responsible Gambling page for further guidance and resources.
Adults 18+ only, or the higher minimum required by the operator/licence jurisdiction. Local laws may restrict gambling in Pakistan. Always verify applicable laws before participating.
1. Set a budget before you start and do not exceed it.
2. Gambling is entertainment — not a way to earn income.
3. Never chase losses with larger bets.
4. Take regular breaks from gambling sessions.
5. Keep gambling separate from your personal finances.
6. Be honest with yourself if gambling is causing stress.
7. Reach out to support if you need help — there is no shame in it.
Pakistan has gambling restrictions under the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977 and other applicable laws. 988wiu does not claim Pakistani government endorsement, licensing or approval. Understanding your local legal obligations before participating is your responsibility. This is not legal advice.
